We were at the studio talking recently and Jeremy encouraged me to share some of the images that I have captured of my wife and 5 children over the past few months.  I wanted to share these images with you because they are some of my favorites of my family – but more than just that – they are a reminder to me of why it is that we do what we do.  When I take a moment to look over the story of our lives as it has unfolded through the images that  I have captured over the last 10 years my perspective is almost always impacted.  As I look through pictures of Heather and the kids I begin to see clearly all that has taken place in our lives – we have been so blessed – sometimes seeing an image from a few months ago is all I need to change my outlook on life.  It’s one of the reasons that I love photography, because these moments come and go so quickly and there is so much going on all around us – they help to remind us to slow down and focus on what is most important.  I hope you enjoy this glimpse into our summer – and take time to enjoy your family this weekend.
